BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Cleofe Padalla Kollin, a home grown Easterite, is the 5th President of Easter College.

She started her professional career in Easter College as a substitute teacher in the School Year 1988-89, and became a regular employee in June 1989. She rose from the rank from being a substitute teacher to a regular Classroom Teacher, to a Student Affairs Coordinator, to a Principal for 2 decades, to a Vice-President for Academic Affairs, and now a College President.

For 33 years with Easter, she worked with 4 college presidents and has gone through different academic functions, activities, achievements, and challenges. To name a few, she led the leveling-up of accreditation status of the Elementary program and the DepEd recognition of the SPED program. She co-authored the Christian Education curriculum of the Elementary level, which is distributed to ECP schools for use. She continuously shares her academic expertise by being an ACSCU accreditor and PEAC certifier. She is also active in various professional organizations like the BC-APSA, an association of the school principal and administrators in Baguio City, where she was once the Vice President for the Elementary level. She is currently the president of SPRINT, an organization of all Episcopal schools in the Philippines.

She was born on September 5, 1965 to the School Supervisor Rufus Padalla and Nurse Irene Mestito Padalla, both from Besao Mountain Province. She finished her Elementary education in Besao Central School, her Secondary level in Saint James High School, her Tertiary level finishing Bachelor in Teacher Education at Baguio Central University. Her thirst for higher learning inspired her to finish Masters in Education at Benguet State University, full academic units in Masters in English at the University of Baguio, full academic units in Master of SPED at the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, and Doctor of Philosophy, major in Educational Management at Benguet State University.

She is baptized in the Anglican Church, grew up in the Anglican faith, and continuously an active member of the Episcopal Church in the Philippines.

She is proud for loving 5 men in her life. They are Attorney Matthew Kollin, her husband, and her 4 sons namely Engineer Alden, Nurse Ruskin, IT specialist Roscoe, and Engineer Danmark Loresto. Her four (4) sons finished their basic education at Easter College and all graduated with honors and recipient of the Loyalty award.

Her whole professional career and the education of her children happened at Easter College, making her the first home grown president of Easter College.
